It was with heavy hearts and sad regret that, on February 7, 2007, we had to say goodbye to one of our dear friends and VAHRMM member, Bonnie Lyman. She will truly be missed. Bonnie was one of the original members of our association, known then as VSHPMM, and held many positions including, Secretary, President, and Education Committee Chair. She was our resident proof-reader as she would always find some correction to any written document no matter how many times it had been reviewed before and she could always bring conference attendees to attention with her unmistakable whistle that could be heard from miles away. Bonnie’s dedication and tireless hours of volunteer work will be missed, but never forgotten as we now, in her honor, offer the Annual Bonnie Lyman Scholarship to the VAHRMM conference. The details of this scholarship are included in the application. Those wishing to apply should fill out the application in its entirety and submit it as soon as possible.
